Nimisha Cancer Care Clinic This is basically a cancer day care chemotherapy center. We have the facility to do biopsy of different types of cancer in the body.

Dr. Neeraj Tandon (MD) DNB, is a trained clinical oncologist. He did his undergraduate training from S.N. Medical College Agra followed by post graduation from K.G. Medical College-Lucknow. He has worked and gained experience from various premier institutes including AIIMS [All India Institute of Medical Sciences] New Delhi, PGIMER Chandigarh and then Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai.

He is currently practicing in Lucknow for last 28 years and is associated with Vivekanand Poly Clinic and Medical Sciences Lucknow and St. Joseph Hospital Gomtinagar.

The current clinic has facilities for cancer screening and treatment. It has an attached day care chemotherapy unit where we can administer chemotherapy for various cancers.

We also have a team of surgeons, pathologists, anesthesiologists and other assistants to perform cancer surgery. We outsource radiotherapy to Lucknow Cancer Institute Manas Nagar (Jiyamau). We are developing an indoor centre for day care and indoor chemotherapy with infusionpump and biosafety room to prepare chemotherapy in a clean environment. We are actively involved in various cancer screening activities, such as oral, neck, breast and cervical cancer. Presently we are using new equipment for breast cancer screen.

Common Symptoms

Oral Cancer Symptoms

  1. A lip or mouth sore that doesn’t heal
  2. A white or reddish patch on the inside of your mouth
  3. Loose teeth
  4. A growth or lump inside your mouth
  5. Mouth pain
  6. Ear pain
  7. Difficult or painful swallowing

Breast Cancer Symptoms

  1. New lump in the breast or underarm (armpit).
  2. Thickening or swelling of part of the breast.
  3. Irritation or dimpling of breast skin.
  4. Redness or flaky skin in the nipple area or the breast.
  5. Pulling in of the nipple or pain in the nipple area.
  6. Nipple discharge other than breast milk, including blood.
  7. Any change in the size or the shape of the breast.
  8. Pain in any area of the breast.

Stomach Cancer Symptoms

  1. Trouble swallowing

  3. Feeling bloated after eating
  4. Feeling full after eating small amounts of food

Gynaecological Cancer Symptoms

  1. Abnormal vaginal bleeding or discharge is common on all gynecologic cancers except vulvar cancer.
  2. Feeling full too quickly or difficulty eating, bloating, and abdominal or back pain are common for ovarian cancer.
  3. Pelvic pain or pressure is common for ovarian and uterine cancers.
  4. More frequent or urgent need to urinate and/or constipation are common for ovarian and vaginal cancers.
  5. Itching, burning, pain, or tenderness of the vulva, and changes in vulva color or skin, such as a rash, sores, or warts, are found only in vulvar cancer.
